Depending on your keyboard and ProTools version, it is possible that characters that are necessary in order to enter your email address or password (e.g. the @-sign) into the activation dialog are captured by ProTools.

At the moment, these are possible workarounds to activate your plugins:


  1. Use another host (e.g. Reaper or AULab) to activate your plugins and use them in ProTools.
  2. Use the offline activaiton process from the activation manual.
  3. Open a simple text editor and type your log in. Copy and paste the data into the respective fields in the online activation dialog via the context menu (right click or Control+click). Command+C and Command+V may be grabbed away as well.
