I accidentally installed everything and now the activation prompt keeps appearing

Your DAW starts up our authorizer as soon as you launch it instead of waiting for you to use the plugin on a track as other DAWs do. If you want a 14-day free trial for our plugins, click "I'm online" and go through the activation process, and the prompt will stop.

 

But if you click "Quit" on that authorization window, the activation prompt will keep coming up for every installed plugin.  We recommend uninstalling them before you rerun your DAW.

 

Since the Installation Manager has no uninstall feature, you must delete the files manually.

 

Depending on which formats you have installed, the files will be in the following folders. Look for the plugin names in these folders and throw the files in the trash.

 

Windows:

Plugin folder locations

  1. C:\Program Files\Vstplugins
  2. C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins
  3. C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
  4. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
  5. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins

Preset locations

  1. C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\Plugin Alliance
  2. %USERPROFILE%\Documents\VST3 Presets\
  3. %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Pro Tools\Plug-In Settings\
  4. %USERPROFILE%\Documents\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance\

Mac:

Go to the Finder and click on Go > Go to Folder, and then enter this file path exactly as written below:
