First, download the presets from the individual Product Pages on our website or the Plugin Alliance Preset Banks Page. Please be careful about which format you use, as different formats of the same plugins utilize other format presets. Once you have downloaded the presets for the plugins you need, consult the sections below depending on your DAW and OS combination.
Pro Tools Users on Mac OS - .tfx Preset Format
The default installation directory for .tfx presets is as follows:
Mac/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plugin Settings/name of the plugin
Drag the .zip files into this folder and unzip them. Then restart Pro Tools and try accessing them again.
Pro Tools Users on Windows OS - .tfx Preset Format

C:\User\(Username)\Documents\Pro Tools\Plug-In Settings\(PluginName)
AU, VST2, and VST3 Format Users on Mac OS - .vstpreset Format
Go to the Finder, click on the "Go" menu, click on "Go to Folder," and enter the following file path exactly as written below:

VST and VST3 Format Users on Windows OS - .vstpreset Format
Place the downloaded preset folders into the following locations:
C:\This PC\Documents\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance\(PluginName)
If you still can’t find the presets, you can download all our Factory presets from the following page:
https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/downloads/presets.html
Ableton Live users: Plugin Alliance factory presets do not appear when using Audio Units format plugins in Live. Since this issue only affects the Audio Units format, we recommend that Live users use VST instead.
Studio One users: We have discovered an issue with how our presets are recognized by Studio One when a plugin is first installed. If you don’t see any Plugin Alliance factory presets in Studio One, go to the Browse window, right-click on the plugin name, and select Refresh.
Please note that there are no presets for the bx_limiter.
If you installed the latest versions of our plugins and are still not seeing the presets in any of the plugins, please follow the instructions below to add the manual presets to the proper folders on your machine.
